Handicap – is an advantage or backlog of the participant of the competition expressed in goals/points/sets/seconds, etc., which is given by the organizer. European handicap differs from Handicap with an additional option of outcome for betting (win of team with exactly difference in goals).
Example: W1 Handicap (-1) / X – Handicap (1) / W2 – Handicap (1)
- Bet on the outcome 1 Handicap (-1) wins only if the first team will win the match with difference 2 goals minimum. This outcome is equal to Handicap 1 (-1.5)
- Bet on the outcome X – Handicap (1) wins only if the first team will win the match with difference 1 goal.
- Bet on the outcome 2 – Handicap (1) wins only if the second team will not lose the match. This outcome is equal to Handicap 2 (0.5)
Example: W1 Handicap (1) / X – Handicap (-1) / W2 – Handicap (-1)
- Bet on the outcome 1 Handicap (1) wins only if the first team will not lose the match. This outcome is equal to Handicap 1 (0.5)
- Bet on the outcome X – Handicap (-1) wins only if the second team will win the match with difference 1 goal.
- Bet on the outcome 2 – Handicap (-1) wins only if the second team will win the match with difference 2 goals minimum. This outcome is equal to Handicap 2 (-1.5)
Example: W1 Handicap (-2) / X – Handicap (2) / W2 – Handicap (2)
- Bet on the outcome 1 Handicap (-2) wins only if the first team will win the match with difference 3 goals minimum. This outcome is equal to Handicap 1 (-2.5)
- Bet on the outcome X – Handicap (2) wins only if the first team will win the match with difference 2 goals.
- Bet on the outcome 2 – Handicap (2) wins only if the second team will not lose the match with a 1 goal difference. This outcome is equal to Handicap 2 (1.5)
Example: W1 Handicap (2) / X – Handicap (-2) / W2 – Handicap (-2)
- Bet on the outcome 1 Handicap (2) wins only if the first team will not lose the match with a 1 goal difference. This outcome is equal to Handicap 1 (1.5)
- Bet on the outcome X – Handicap (-2) wins only if the second team will win the match with difference 2 goals.
- Bet on the outcome 2 – Handicap (-2) wins only if the second team will win the match with difference 3 goals minimum. This outcome is equal to Handicap 2 (-2.5)
