Betting Markets

football is a game with many betting options

Every match or event will tend to offer a selection of betting markets (bet options), with big events often giving players a huge selection of over 100+ betting markets per game.

Popular betting markets in a football match for example include who will win (home, draw, away), over/under a number of goals, Asian handicaps, correct score, first goalscorer, half-time result and many, many more.

Example: In a match between Newcastle and Manchester United, a £200 bet placed on the ‘Match’ market for the Away team to win (Manchester United) at odds of 1.70 (7/10). If Manchester United win the game, you will have earned £340, £140 of which will be pure profit.

In another example, if you placed £100 at 2.40 (7/5) on the ‘Total Goals’ market at ‘Over 2.5’ goals in the same game, and the match finished 1-2 to Manchester United (Total goals = 3). You will have earned £240, £140 of which will be pure profit.

Each way Betting Markets

Commonly used in horse racing or any event with a tournament based qualifying format, ‘each-way’ betting markets offer you an option to make a wager that consisting of two separate bets: a win bet and a place bet.

For the win part of the bet to give a return, your selected team or player have to win, alternatively finish first, in the betting event. For the place part of the bet to give a return, the selected team or player must either win or finish in one of the predetermined spots in the event, such as first, second or third, depending on the bet you make.

Combination Betting Markets

it is fun betting on football markets

Also commonly referred to as Accas, combination betting markets are bets that require a selection of multiple bet markets on a single bet slip, the only difference being that ALL the selections must win to have a return.

The advantage of a combination bet is that winnings are much higher at the expense of increased risk. The only drawback is that it takes just a single selection in the combination to lose, for the entire combination bet to lose.

To place a combination bet, select the markets you would like to bet on so that they appear in your bet slip. Select the Combination tab, betting market, provided to you by your bookmaker online, to combine the selections and enter the stake you want to wager. The bet slip will calculate the potential payout for your combination bet.

Please note that some bet selections cannot be combined. The bet slip will notify you if any of your selections are incompatible.

System betting markets

System betting markets are made up of several combination and single bets. As soon as you have added at least 2 or more bets to your bet slip, you can place system bets. To do so, click on the System tab to see the number of possible system bets available to you based upon your bet selections.
